  • Your goals and settings are stored in Chrome's local or sync storage
  • Your browsing history statistics are stored locally
  • No data is sent to external servers (unless you enable AI features)
  • Data is retained until you clear it using the "Clear History" feature or uninstall the Extension

4. Optional AI Integration

The Extension offers optional AI-powered personalized messages, which require external API integration:

  • AI features are disabled by default
  • You must explicitly enable them and provide your own API key
  • If enabled, limited page content and your goals may be sent to the configured AI service
  • You can use any OpenAI-compliant backend, including running a local one for full privacy
  • We do not have access to your API keys or data sent to these services

When using third-party AI services like OpenAI, their privacy policies will apply to the data you send through their API. We recommend reviewing their privacy policies before enabling AI features.

5. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third parties. All data remains on your device except in the following scenarios:

  • When you enable AI features and data is sent to your configured AI provider
  • If you choose to use Chrome's sync feature, which may sync your goals and settings across devices

The Extension does not include any third-party analytics, trackers, or advertisements.

6. Your Privacy Rights

You have complete control over your data:

  • Access: View all your data within the Extension's interface
  • Delete: Clear your browsing history using the "Clear History" button
  • Modify: Update your goals and settings at any time
  • Export: Your data is stored locally and can be viewed in Chrome's storage
  • Withdraw consent: Disable AI features at any time
  • Full deletion: Uninstall the Extension to remove all stored data

7. Children's Privacy

The Extension is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
